It was a photo essay, nothing more. And no, I don't phone in my articles! Foie gras is an acquired taste, like after-dinner cigars. Celebrate the differences!

I would like to think in this day and age that most thoughtful people would skip restaurants serving foie gras. I noticed that Rover's in Seattle even had a Foie Gras Dinner on Dec. 7th. Ugh.
There's a very tasty mock pate de foie gras - based upon using a good quality liverwurst, blended with a bit of mayo!
Too bad it's been so long - can't seem to recall what else I'd put in with that! Never had the original, so can't even guess what would mock the original flavors.
Have t' say this so called article was a big disappointment - considering there's no description of the foods..the supposed point of the "article"!
Being a foodie - that hoped to find artful description of these "most memorable meals". That was the only reason I took the time to trudge through that well photographed slide show...a true information void!
I suspect the "writer" phoned this one in!
