The Doom and Gloom may be a reaction to the greed evinced in the financial crisis of 2008 and the continued greed on Wall Street. In other words, the world just keeps going as it is wont to do. Another false prophetic cult to pay no attention to after their prophesies fail to pan out. Unfortunately, the cult will not lose many believers. People are too wired to believe, and to hold to their belief at all cost, no matter what the belief is or how wrong it is.

Just goes to show, that all the people who claim to know and speak their God are just a little bit to full on delusional. He may exist, he may may not, but one thing is for sure, no-one has a conduit :)
