Susan Rosser is a published novelist with two previous best-selling books, Just Desserts and A Matter of Betrayal (the latter of which was co-written with Patti Massman), both published in the 1990's. Susan worked on the John Anderson for President Campaign (1979-1980) as Los Angeles County Coordinator and later as traveling press aide to Eleanora Anderson who campaigned country-wide as a surrogate for her father. From 1980 through 1984 she served as Press Deputy to Los Angeles County Supervisor Ed Edelman (1st District) and Press Deputy for Mike Antonovich (5th District). She was also a speech writer for Supervisor Antonovich and ghost writer for Antonovich.

Mrs. Rosser is presently at work on a non-fiction book entitled The Boy on the Lake. It is the story of Trevor Smith of McCall, Idaho who at the age of thirteen, in 2002, had to battle brain cancer and an abusive father at the same time. Trevor's father was once the president of the San Diego Padres. Trevor's mother has been fighting to prove that her son's cancer was part of a cluster in Valley County. He has become the face of childhood cancer in the reddest of red states, Idaho, a fact that is not lost on this amazing 18 year old.
