Susan Sisko Carter has written teleplays for some of the major producers in television, including David Simon, Gavin Palone, and David Chase. She has written feature films for Disney and United Artists, and is a recipient of the Luminas Award from Women in Film. As a singer-songwriter, she has recorded for Verve and Epic, under the name: Susan Carter. In 2008, a song, which she co-wrote, was featured on Broadway in Chazz Palminteri’s A Bronx Tale. She is pleasurably at work on a new album. Her smoky song, "Sipping Wine in Paris," a short story set to music, features piano accompaniment by film composer/sometimes-guest-conductor for the Moscow Philharmonic, Terry Plumeri. The song will be available...in conjunction with Susan's debut novel, which was inspired by her experience living in a hotel, in West Hollywood, for two-and-a-half years.

Susan began the book in the hotel. And finished it in Paris, where she resides whenever possible.
