Susan is a public health policy analyst and poverty reduction consultant. She previously worked on improving the health and well-being of adolescents, young adults, and women in low-resource environments, both domestically and abroad. Her current work focuses on market-driven strategies that promote economic development, financial inclusion, or global health. She also serves as an advisor to CapraCare helping to develop school-based health education and community health solutions in rural Haiti. Susan sits on the Board of Directors of Transdiaspora Network, a non-profit organization whose culturally oriented strengths-based approach to HIV prevention and youth development is creating a new dialogue about prevention among adolescents from Brooklyn's underserved neighborhoods. Susan graduated from Columbia University and received a Master's in Public Health from Emory University.
