Sylvia Thompson, MD, MPH is a pediatrics resident at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children. She completed her Masters in Public Health in Global Health Policy at the Harvard School of Public Health. Sylvia has bachelor's in biology from Reed College, and graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in May 2009. Sylvia was a national leader of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) for four years. She founded and chaired AMSA's Health Care for All Steering Committee and is the immediate-past AMSA National Health Policy Chair.
