Republicans are shouting for war. Unlike our forefathers, they are not fighting for democracy and equal rights, but rather for a plutocracy.
Everyone is talking and worrying about the Affordable Care Act (ACA), which became law in 2010. What has received less attention are the provisions for preventive care and potentially increasing access to health care providers who practice from a whole person, naturalistic perspective.
The real problem is that the big dollar incentives don't line up. The folks with the most skin in the game (insurance and pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and large medical associations) profit dearly from the status quo. More care equals more money.
