It is because I have vowed not to be the best, and began employing numerous parenting short-cuts (my two year old will often arrive at preschool still in her pajamas) that I am able to be the fun, loving, patient, and honest mother I am.

For the last few years I've been waiting patiently for an article to be published that sings the praises of television and toddlers. However, I am beginning to realize that this article may never be written. So I decided to write it myself.
