It seemed that most of the clearly biased shows on cable news had been publicly outed as such, but viewers learned there was yet another conservative Republican show:Election Center with Campbell Brown.

On the air I want the sort of Viagra-fueled maniacs conservatives have on the front lines, not a bunch of impotent lefties who couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag.

After Jenna Kern decided to write an Op-Ed for Newsday questioning whether shock jocks and hate speech contributed to the murders in Tennessee, the haters started to come after her as well.

How dare this white man with a microphone and the trust of the public think that in 2008, he can still put the words "lynch and party" together in the same sentence with reference to a black woman?

While consumers of most news outlets scored poorly on the test, a separate question revealed that a vast majority believe they follow national news closely.

I owe a debt of gratitude to John Cusack, actually. His portrayal of an obsessive compulsive record-store owner in High Fidelity kind of validated the kind of existence I had in the early 1990s.

No need to listen to or watch O'Reilly today. One need go no further than this clip from last month to discover what Bill really thinks of Tim Russert and his credibility.

Now the right will claim that it is the left that is hateful and violent and that the left is "just as bad" or worse. To that I say: Prove it. If liberals are truly more violent than conservatives, this should be an easy task.

So incredible is Bob's love for the Fox News network, he made a sign and headed to Denver to present his case to the American people, and Democrats in particular.

An "O'Reilly Factor" producer cornered PBS's Bill Moyers at a conference on media reform this weekend, leading Moyers to demand an unedited interview about Iraq. Angry journalists piled on.

O'Reilly claims that Barack Obama is boosting the sales of Obama Nation, the number one book on this week's New York Timesbestseller list, because he won't come on The Factor.
Steve Young, 07.24.2008
Short of saying that Barack wants to sleep with your daughter, O'Reilly used just about every button meant to alarm his white fans to the fact that a President Obama could set off race-laced fireworks.
Steven Denlinger, 08.20.2008
Democratic leaders are not-so-privately wondering if Obama has the cojones to beat John McCain in the election. They fear he's just a kitty cat, and ...

For those of you not as politically savvy as FoxNews viewers, here's the technical way talking points work: The Bush White House told Fox News what to say and Fox News said it.
RJ Eskow, 07.28.2008
These right-wing pundits make their money and serve their political agenda by telling people like Jim Adkisson that liberal Americans are treacherous and mentally ill enemies of the state.

In one of the most incendiary columns ever written, "Race And The Presidential Election," Bill O'Reilly sets the race-bait bar to record-breaking...d...

Keith Olbermann, the little engine who could and did. Congrats!
I'LL DO IT LIVE!!! I'LL DO IT LIVE!!
Never mind the fact the BillO was on vacation that week. Shhhh!
Fantastic!!
Who is Keith Olberman?

MY FELLOW AMERICANS,
Please BOYCOTT FOX news and tell your friends to do the same.
Rarely do you see as empty headed a group of people on HuffPost as Oberman fans. Just read these posts "we boycott fox", "we hate o'reilly", "keith kicks butt", "cable provider conspiracy". Sad.
The reality is that Fox in general, and O'Reilly in particular, slaughters not just Oberman, but all of MSNBC. Oberman is number 23 in ratings, and O'Reilly is number 1. The crowning achievement this week (filling in details missing from this "article" was achieved by
a. limiting demographics.
b. skipping one night. and
c. O'reilly being on vacation
I think O'Reilly is a blowhard who doesn't listen to his interviewees. Nevertheless, he is way more watchable, and thus way more popular than the top 3 people on MSNBC combined
Really? Slaughters? In a Jerry Springer type of way I suppose and we all know how relevant he is. Billo has no credibility as a journalist and I doubt very seriously you could convince anyone with half a brain that he consistently tells the truth and if that is the reason he is number one in ratings, then that also shows how stupid many Americans have become.
Broad stroke statements like yours does nothing to engage competent discussion...
This "Empty Headed" person cannot sit through 1 minute of his garbage because of his constant vulgarity and lack of depth. By comparison, Olbermann (you might try to spell his name correctly) is refreshing and candid, not to mention infinitely smarter and more grounded in reality. Just for clarity, what is your definition of watchable Delvin?
O'Reilly's a "blowhard who doesn't listen to his interviewees" yet you find him "way more watchable".
What does that say about YOUR taste?
I have programmed my remote to bypass Fox, because I will not watch such TRASH as that mindless, abusive network!!!
