Once again we skied at Liberty, near Gettysburg. We go there often, because we have a lot of good friends there and it is the closest drive from Washington DC. But its sister area, Whitetail, is also excellent, with some longer, steeper runs.
The sun shone, the weather was warm and I conquered my demons. Nine months after breaking my hip, and two years after I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, I was delighted to learn I could still ski.
