Have you given up on your New Year's resolutions yet? One of the main reasons that New Year's resolutions are so often forgotten before January is out is that they usually require habit change.
Be patient with yourself -- its ok to take time in overcoming a habit. If you slip up, just start again. Before you know it, a week without doing it will become a month and then a year and so on.
To let go of the habits we created is difficult, but the rewards of creating new and positive habits can be life-changing.
Bring this practice into the moments of your life at home and at work where you notice the habits occurring. Allow it to widen the space of awareness and choose a different response.
