It was natural for the Russos to put Captain America in a political setting. They like to say they grew up in politics, because their father was a Cleveland city councilman and then a judge and their entire family is involved in politics.
Of course I know who Scott Evans is. He's the kid brother of Chris Evans and has made a name for himself in his own right with a memorable turn on One Life to Live. I just don't know him. But try telling that to Facebook.
Captain America unreels with machine-like efficiency from end-to-end. It's loaded with enough action and emotion to lure in audiences not steeped in comic book minutia, but also peppered with tie-ins and callbacks.
