The real question isn't why Baptists are behaving like Baptists but rather why Hollywood studios aren't behaving like capitalists, selling more by either getting rid of the bad words or making alternative versions available to consumers like those represented by Lifeway.

That Disney was able to convince the moviegoing populace that they wanted to see a sequel to a 28-year old film that barely anyone remembers in any detail is both a testament to Disney's marketing skill and a sad commentary on blockbuster filmmaking.
It was a gruesome weekend for wide releases, as two sure-fire openers underperformed, which frankly ought to make Disney very nervous for next weekend.
