It should be obvious why climate hawks need to care about making birth control widely accessible: fewer unwanted pregnancies will mean fewer unwanted births and, ultimately, fewer greenhouse gases.

Please kill me if I have to listen to another discussion about rebranding environmentalism. The point is not that environmentalists need something new to call themselves, but that climate hawks and environmentalists are not the same group.
