Wall Street is its own worst enemy. It should have welcomed new financial regulation as a means of restoring public trust. Instead, it's busily shredding new regulations and making the public more distrustful than ever.
The only way to restore confidence in our markets is to reinstitute time-tested rules on short selling and make certain that the new market structures and trading mechanisms are understood and properly regulated.
First, let your greed overcome all regard for the stability of the global market, and overcome your aversion to illegal activities. Then say away from people like me, because I'd like to see you thrown in jail.
