For soldiers who have gone AWOL and then voluntarily turned themselves in or were forcibly returned, detention conditions here in Echo Platoon serve to reinforce the inescapability of their situation.

It is true that as a soldier it is not your job to question the nature of a mission, but what if that mission violates your morality so much you cannot reconcile it with your most basic beliefs?
