You once filmed an ad where you drove past old Cass Tech, but did you ever stop? Did you ever truly appreciate what Detroit stood for? Dodge Main fell, Hudson's fell and even Cass Tech was demolished, but Detroit did not give up. Why did you give up on them?
Yes, Detroit has a lot of things that aren't in its favor. But there's so much more positive than negative, from great universities and walkable neighborhoods, to cultural and natural amenities, the city and surrounding region have a lot to offer.
Do we really want a president that refuses to take responsibility for the actions of a company for which he was CEO, President, Chairman and sole stockholder? And it doesn't stop with personal responsibility.
For his character's sake, Mitt Romney should aim high and hold himself to his father's standard of public service. For our country's sake, Republican primary and, possibly, general election voters should as well.
