As Wal-Mart's U.S. operation loses momentum, and lack-luster same store sales performance from its overbuilt domestic inventory continues to disappoint, shareholders will suffer from Wal-Mart fatigue, and look for more nimble, faster-growing competitors.

On July 7, one of the richest people in America was given millions in public welfare to build an unnecessary Wal-Mart. This "bailout for Billionaires" was the work of the Bridgeton, Missouri City Council, where economic illiteracy trumps common sense.
