Jesus' resurrection is not merely a spiritual thing -- the apparition of his ghost, or his ongoing spiritual influence. The Gospels all insist that the resurrection includes Jesus' body.

Doubt has many roles. We sometimes forget that God is mystery and a life of faith is one that is lived in the tension of never fully knowing.

Science is naturally skeptical, initially couched in doubt. Though doubt might be a stumbling block for science, it is a stepping stone for faith.

God has created us to recognize the injustice and emptiness and long for something more. God did not have to make us this way. God could have made us like fish, but he didn't. Why is that?

It is increasingly clear to me that doubt is, in fact, the most important faith of all. Doubt invigorates faith, demands more of it, and causes us to ask more of each other.
