It's hardly surprising to learn about a hit Off Broadway show moving to Broadway. It's been happening for years, both with shows that began at not-for-profit companies or as commercial ventures.

The play into film that so captured hearts with Jessica Tandy and Morgan Freeman was for me, at least, completely unmoving, due to the affectedly mannered Ms. Redgrave.
Without surprise, James Earl Jones cannot help but impress anyone present by how much he loves his character "Hoke." Certainly Jones knows the racial issues contained in the play, as he knows his own from his real past.
