In order to have a healthy home it makes sense to consider things like air and water quality as well as natural lighting, food and access to healthy recreation as environmental factors that help us feel better in our homes.
Overall, the differences I notice since dropping the dairy are somewhat subtle, but definitely positive. I am confident that collectively these small changes are leading me towards a greater, more whole person.
Everything starts with awareness. Thankfully, we are made up of awareness, so we can always tap in. When we bring awareness to our habits, our fears are illuminated and we begin to work toward balance.
We all have our straws that we see the sky with. Practice comes in wiping off the dust at the end of the straw so we can see clearly. If we're really lucky, maybe we can put down the straw and look at the sky.
