Our eating habits provide the building blocks (nutrients) for our bodies to create the chemicals we need. And each food has different amounts of particular blocks. If the building blocks aren't provided in adequate amounts, our bodies react with symptoms.
Most of us are conditioned to think that taking a pill out of a bottle will make us feel better. We don't generally think that fresh vegetables and fruit count toward healing. But it's true, food is the most powerful drug we have.
Medicine doesn't always come in a pill. In fact, some of the most powerful medicines are delicious and can be found at your local supermarket or "farmacy."
