@justinmwhitaker No. That's how it got all fucked up. Fox News is what you describe. Real journalism is independent and objective.

A doubly historic Obama/Clinton ticket would unite the party and totally energize voters--young and old. Remember, HRC got half the votes in the primaries. What if the situation were reversed, and Obama had come in second just shy of the nomination? His supporters would be SCREAMING for her to put him on the ticket. And rightly so. Instead, people are trying to make a case for already-lost-once Edwards and a conservative Repub like Hagel. Please!

HRC helps Obama with groups that he's had a lot of difficulty convincing. There is no question that she would help him to nail down critical states like Ohio, PA, Michigan and Florida. She and Bill could probably deliver Arkansas' six electoral votes, even though pollsters have it solidly in McCain's column. This is really a no-brainer, folks.

How does he poll with other VP candidates?
There's a lot of information left out of this story and therefore nothing to conclude

Excellent question. Does anyone have other match-ups?

I suspect Bill would not remember that he would only be 'Second Lady,' if Hillary were VP.

I suspect, too, that Obama knows Bill will not remember.

enough with the polls. they change hour to hour. and less than i percent of the population represents fairly how.

She's the one VP candidate who could actually substantially improve his poll numbers and chance of winning. Anybody else on his shortlist is not familiar to the people at large and won't help that much. Anyone else is simply a "do no harm" candidate. Hillary is more of a high risk/high reward candidate.
