As you know, people in Gaza lose their jobs, others lose loved ones and even their own lives, but that does not mean I have to lose my mojo. I am not going to let an international embargo kill my smoothie buzz.

If Hamas has a reason to ban you from traveling they will, and occasionally they'll detain you.

I am being told that it will be "unlikely" for me to make my way out of Gaza due to the ongoing Israeli-Egyptian siege that has closed borders on every front. Gaza is the largest open air prison in the world.

Israel's siege is achieving the exact opposite of what it hoped. The tougher life gets, the more spiritual Gazans become, thus driving the people toward religion -- an area Hamas knows a lot about managing.
