But no deals have been made, no surreptitious capture plans have been leaked, and President Jonathan has remained amazingly quiet about his next moves.
Ah! The wonderful sound of clanging medals, young voices cheering, and the slapping of high fives -- it's the sound of students being rewarded for collaborating and utilizing their STEM skills. This sound does not come without a price -- it is the sound that can come after as many successes as failures.
As the Head of a school that encourages girls to Dream, Dare, Do; that promotes growth mindset and risk-taking; that knows how girls learn, think and feel; that uses research to inform best practice, I struggle with how not to insist that men and women with the same qualifications be paid equally for the same work.
Imagine a world where no woman dies giving life, where unwanted pregnancies are a thing of the past, where every girl is able to attend school and receive a quality education, and where everybody -- including girls and women -- can exercise their rights and have the opportunity to fulfill their potential.
