Global Fund for Education

At the turn of the millennium, the world came together to promise that by 2015, every child would complete a full course of primary schooling. Progress is stalling.

While the administration has failed to deliver on President Barack Obama's pledge to create a new Global Fund for Education, Congress is increasingly showing support for the idea.

Despite repeated pledges to help, donors and international funding agencies are not doing enough to help. National economies recover but kids will have lost the opportunity of a lifetime.
