God Existence

Why wouldn't this creator, in order to silence disbelievers and recruit more faithful, simply appear on the White House lawn, announce his presence, and miraculously end all war, hunger, and disease?

Lose the Gods, heavens, angels, and miracles, and resurrect religion as an activity of connecting with that part of us that is not us but lives in us, or flows though us.

Every religion, every culture on this planet, has always talked about the omnipresent, all-pervading nature of the divine. If you look at it, the only thing that can be truly all-pervading is darkness or emptiness or nothingness.

If biocentrism is right, nature has much bigger plans for us than just this or that life -- plans far beyond anything religion has ever projected to any god.

So, where can we turn for an answer to the puzzle of God? I humbly suggest we look to evolution. The creative power of Darwinian evolution is, evidently, almost without limit.
