The issues we face today, as a global community, have evolved, yet the epidemic remains fearsome for the millions of people living with HIV/AIDS around the world.
Americans should be proud of what we have done to fight HIV/AIDS around the world, and how, together, we are turning the tide against an epidemic once thought to be invincible.
The next four months are a critical time for the Administration, the International AIDS Conference, and the National HIV/AIDS Strategy. We might ask a familiar question: We know what to do, but will we do it?
