Living in Los Angeles, the bar scene is saturated with overpriced, watered-down drinks and unwelcoming servers. I found one bar, however, that has changed my opinion of Los Angeles nightlife: Drai's Hollywood.
In the shadows of Norma Desmond-era Hollywood, just 49 steps south of James Caan's star on the Walk of Fame, is a vestige of Tinseltown's long-vanished Golden Era bar scene.
