I have no outward sign of my disability. I don't have a guide dog, a white cane or dark glasses. But I am a fraud. I am passing. My truth is that I was blinded by an accident 3.5 years ago. And even though I, at my core, remained the same, how I relate to others and the way others relate to me has changed.
Try this simple exercise: Google a fairly close competitor by name and review the results. What type of mentions are you finding, where are the links coming from, has he/she published articles of any value? If they have and you haven't, you're giving away ground to them. If you've been able to be published and they haven't, you're more prominent than they are. This can be the foundation for marketing efforts.
It is customary during Tu B'Shevat to eat a new fruit, or to eat one of the Seven Species mentioned in the Bible. Being that it is the New Year for trees, I thought it would be the perfect time to make a "tree" resolution. So, mine is to introduce a new fruit or vegetable at least once a month to my kids.
