This is the exclusive audio of a phone call between Anthony Pellicano and Ken Starr. Ken Starr (no relation to the former special prosecutor) was Sly Stallone's former business manager.

Mr. Pellicano took every opportunity to approach the Judge, despite her clear indication that she'd prefer that he stay behind his podium, far, far away from her.

At the end of the conversation, Pellicano again implored Arneson to get him as much information as he could about the woman, saying, "Pretty please with sugar on top." And with that, the government rested.

Ms. Carradine testified that she didn't originally ask Mr. Pellicano to wiretap her ex Keith, but rather she wanted him to investigate whether he was really as broke as he'd claimed during their divorce proceedings.

While Mr. Pellicano was busy charging $25,000 retainers to every client--including Mr. Ovitz who asked the detective to investigate Anita Busch -- the telephone company worker was getting $250.

We're learning how easy it is for someone at the phone company to wiretap our phones. All they have to do is punch in a couple of codes to access phone numbers, addresses, credit information...

In a merciful act, the Judge agreed to interrupt Mr. Pellicano's cross of computer expert Mr. Edwards to allow the government to call two C.A.A. super agents and managing directors of the agency.

It seems Pellicano is tapping calls for McTiernan and has endless hours to listen to. He also talks about Hollywood bribes and budget overages in reference to Jodie Foster and Eddie Murphy movies.

Mr. Pfeiffer told the courtroom that Mr. Pellicano was extremely effective against Ms. Finn. Mr. Pellicano confirmed that Ms. Finn was working as a prostitute at the time she was dating Mr. Pfeiffer.

While the jury stared at their transcripts, Mr. Pellicano's profanities were blasted through the courtroom as he told attorney Peter Knect that client, Bilal Baroody owed Ron Meyer around $300,000.

All and all, today was a much better day for the government at the Pellicano trial. Even though they let Mr. Grey off the hook, throwing him numerous...

So finally today, we got a witness on the stand, Gregory Dovel, who actually testified about how his conversations with his client were intercepted by Mr. Pellicano.
