"Excerpts from the interview will also air Monday on "Today," MSNBC, and msnbc.com." CUT AND SPLICE, CUT AND SPLICE, ETC. ETC.

I'm very glad the president of Iran is answering questions. Hopefully Williams will not follow the advice of many of the posters here and ask him questions that have nothing to do with his country like "has the surge worked?" and other nonsense like that.

How about..."What's Iran's position on the longterm settlement of Iraqi refugees who have fled to Iran?" if you want to ask questions about Iraq.

Good. Ahmadinejad may be a wingnut, but IMO its crucial that Americans start seeing Iranians as actual people, that are in a similar boat as we are: with a goofball leader that doesn't represent us. Maybe then we can avoid yet another pointless war.

Hmmm, maybe a left hook by I'm-a-Don will straighten out Brian's nose and face.

That'll be an improvement.

May be Ahmadinejad should inquire from Brian Williams about his denigrating comments about Iran when in a newscast he was doing on CNBC he mocked Iran's biggest exports after oil being pistachios and rugs. That news item was during the time Clinton Admin was attempting to thaw relations with Iran by taking these items off the sanctions list. Couldn't NBC send anyone else? There is Chris M., Keith O. any reporter on MSNBC would be an improvement on Brian Williams. Any hope of getting an incisive interview is dashed here. Ahmadimejad is going to dance on BW's head.
