Suicide martyrdom operations have now become so commonplace that as a viewership we are badly inured to them. Its worth remembering that the ideology supporting fanatical attacks may begin long before adulthood.

I was humbled. Itamar's draining, devastating work was ultimately about an Israeli Jew who cared deeply about Muslim children, a lone green shoot of hope sprouting forth from lakes of blood.

An article by Harold Evans today purports that Palestinian children are being taught the values of martyrdom and war in school. The author and the sources he quotes are deeply biased.
