While bad risk management in financial markets is capturing our attention right now, the problem goes much deeper. Faulty intelligence overestimated the risk from WMD's in Iraq, and underestimated the challenges our military would face from the insurgents. In fact, when it comes to risk assessment, economic or otherwise, it is now quite impossible to trust the judgments of our leaders. You can't assess risk if your mind is closed. Now how does this all map onto Obama/Biden versus McCain/Palin?

This kind of talk makes me nervous. On a superstitious level, I don;t want to jinx the lead, on a practical level, we need to keep up a sready full court press-last minute dirty tricks were invented by the GOP.
I don't really trust Rollin's batting record. For the safe side and the "Bradley" effect, Obama should not give any chance and push hard for the campaign. Go Obama.

I completely agree. It isn't over until it's over. There's no room for assumptions. Just a lot of hard work to get these new voters to the polls in Nov.
