We allowed neither time, nor space to harden the natural distance between us. We would not choose sides. We would continue simply to be a very public witness and single face of the equal love of the God of Differences for us all.

"How can we as men say our call from God is authentic, but your call as women is not? Who are we to reject God's call of women to the priesthood?"

The search for God is a very intimate enterprise. It is at the core of every longing in the human heart. It is the search for ultimate love, for total belonging, for the meaningful life.

I am completely convinced that until women are more than token members of any movement and institution, there will never be peace or action on environment or real action on poverty.
