Bid'n his Time: If it's Joe, Don't Ignore his Constitutional Gravitas
Everyone knows Biden's expertise in foreign policy. It has overshadowed his equal expertise on the law, the Constitution, and the Judiciary -- it should not.

Intrade, the well-known "prediction market" reports today that Biden "has overtaken Evan Bayh as the most likely running mate.
Be thankful for radio silence I guess when other candidates for VP like Daschle and Bayh are getting phone calls saying, "Sorry....but we look forward to working with you in many other ways in the coming years."
Obama should take a page from George Bush and pick the head of his search committee: Caroline Kennedy. She's been witness to the inner-workings of government for decades while maintaining her role as an outsider.
Absent from this conversation has been a weighing the various VP candidates' environmental record. Where there ought to be lively discussion, there is - listen closely now - crickets.
With the presidential nominee's Kansas roots, a Sebelius selection would make for a wonderful narrative, a tale of the heartland which could be spun to great effect at the Convention, and one that would help dispel the "exotic" aspersions cast at Obama.
Unfortunately, the coterie of cautious centrists being touted by the Obama campaign as short-listers for the vice presidential nod are hardly up to the task of taking on the Republican attack machine.
In this week of geopolitical saber rattling and jockeying, I felt "yea, we could use a little Doug MacArthur in an Obama administration."
Who is in your dream Administration, and what role would they play? I JUST finished tabulating the results you sent in as part of our new "What's Your Take" community feature.
AUDIO BOOK: "Counselor, A Life at the Edge of History" AUTHOR: Ted Sorensen ("Kennedy," "The Kennedy Legacy") GENRE: Autobiog...
McCain's ads are not about racism; they are about hope -- the hope that the American people are so stupid that they care more about Paris Hilton than they do about their jobs, the environment, and foreign policy.
Once a domestic violence victim steps out from the shadow of an abusive relationship, what does she need? Lawyers.
We've got to move from a policy concentrated on one man, President Musharraf, to a policy centered on an entire people: the people of Pakistan.
Putting Obama at the center of a team of rivals, all of them familiar, even venerable, pieces of political furniture would dampen the he's-not-one-of-us factor that is still his greatest danger.

What have people got against mountain lions?
;)
In the NBC poll from yesterday 49 percent said HRC should not ever be president.
Biden was the first to call for a partition of Iraq as a solution. I'm sure we'd hear about that from McClone.
McClone wants to reinstate a draft in order to follow bin Laden around.
(He said he'd follow him to the gates of hell, not that he'd capture him)
A vote for McCain is a vote for the End Times.
I'm not lobbying, but if we're honest, don't we have to suspect that HRC probably gives him Arkansas, West Virginia and Kentucky?
I think she's probably the only VP that actually comes with electoral votes.
No,its a false assumption.Rednecks voting against Barack because of color arent likely to change their minds even if Bedford Forrest is his running mate. The assumption that low imformation voters would prefer her over McCain may also be wrong.
They're not believable as a team and it would offer too much raw meet for the swift-boaters " forget the Hill.
She could help with Florida, Pennsylvania and Michigan as well.
It's sticky though - she'll rile up the nasty part of the Republican base, but she could also deliver some suburban moms, and then there are the many Obama supporters that can't stomach her.
I agree on Pennyslvania and I think she helps with Ohio. I think and thought that Obama is stronger than HRC than in Michigan.
I'm a heretic on Florida. I think it's a red state with a powerful GOP machine, and a waste of time and money. I think Democrats should cede Florida until Florida manages to get a working Democratic Party. I'm mad Obama spend so much on ads there.
Obama`s campaign is losing the zest, HRC , is the only person who can make the race alive again and the two together will be unbeatable. Let`s not kid ourselves, with Bush`s very low rating it is unbelievable to see the race so close.
