Considering some people are already criticizing him and he hasn't even taken office yet, I wouldn't be surprised!

Oprah will always have a formidable base that will follow her lead. She's actually educating and empowering men and women to know politics and how it works. What she says matters around the world. Oprah has brought many good ideas and hope to peoples lives. She's an ICON whether you choose to think so or not. There are several white women who voted for Barack on the strength of Oprah. Her intellect and strength as a woman takes the lead for women who have crisis situations and issues that require knowledge and strength to make things happen in their lives, that on their own they maybe would not have reached or possessed what it takes to better their lives.

I doubt she would take an Ambassadorship and especially during his first term. Maybe, his second term and by that time, she will probably want to give up her show too, which would be 6 or 8 years from now.

Ms. Harris, you give Oprah far too much credit in that her following has not been what it once was. There are many who stopped watching her long ago. She is not the Goddess that you so think.

I guess you don't realize that the president elect essentially kicked off his campaign on her show back when? He didn't say it, but it was obvious then and now. She was introducing him to America.

Her following is larger, because of her business ventures and massive business expansion, 20 million viewership on television is huge. The woman is larger than life, just ask the President ELECT !
