LAUSD leadership needs to hear candid and constructive feedback from the community. Then, and only then, will we foster the level of trust and collaboration required to truly lift morale and performance in our public schools.
We know that our educators are ready and willing to raise the bar for the profession and for our students. To do this, we need courageous and collaborative leaders at the helm of our school system.
Our community still needs plumbers, mechanics and construction workers. The LAUSD should should reinstate career and technical training and trade classes, including wood-shop, machine-shop, graphic design and construction-related classes.
