Candidate Obama promised equality for same-sex couples under federal law. We encourage President Obama to fulfill that promise before 2010 tax returns come due.

As critical a marker as this election is, true change depends upon a collective vision and movement towards peace and equity for all.

Transgendered people, too long marginalized in society and even within the GLBT community, has made enormous strides in recent years -- we want to continue that progress and translate it into federal law.
