A year ago Dr. Judith Bradford spread the news on The Huffington Post that the government had created the most comprehensive tome ever on the often-overlooked subject of LGBT health. But a year later, not one of the IOM report recommendations has been implemented.
I recently found myself in Philadelphia attending, of all things, a White House Conference on LGBT Health. It slowly dawned on me that this event alone does wonders to send a flag hither and yon that LGBT health is no longer a fringe issue.
