Sadly, Downton Abbey is over for the season. But it is still fun to fantasize about how great it would be to have a personal staff to take on all those tedious daily tasks, such as pouring one's own coffee or filling one's bathtub.
When you grasp the beauty of this semi-arid plateau -- filled with strange geological formations, salt flats, pumice fields, sand dunes and an absurd array of colors --you won't quite believe it's the same country, let alone the same planet.
So though mega-metropolises like Buenos Aires, Hong Kong, or Los Angeles might intimidate you, fear not. You can always retreat to these intimate boutiques for some quiet time amidst the bustle of the big city.

I have been fortunate to sail on almost all of the five star cruise lines sailing today and have sailed most itineraries. While I would choose an ocean liner for any ocean crossing, for everything else, I look for small.
