From that first wish, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has seen amazing improvements and reeled in remarkable success. In many cases, after a child receives his or her wish, he or she goes into remission and is able to survive their illness.
Several years ago my dear friend Mary Alice Stephenson invited me to join her Make-A-Wish team, asking if I'd be interested in donating makeup time. We would be granting several Make-A-Wish kids their dream of becoming a supermodel for a day.
