Even when economic times are tough and your clients are few, make your decisions from a place of abundance. Ask yourself this, "If I was really busy with dream clients, would I take this person on as a client?"
I like to think of myself as a conscientious consumer, and I was aware of the conditions of much of Chinese labor. This fleeting consideration was swiftly superseded by the tiny excitement of a new toy.
The next fifteen years are likely to see as much change in the media and advertising worlds as we have seen in the preceding fifteen. Riding the wave of Internet innovation will create change for the better.
If you're a company that's riding on the social media bandwagon, make sure you have the people in place who have creativity, an understanding of new media, and a voice and tone that is inviting to a broad audience.
