To be sure, we all have a part to play in making violence prevention a real priority. We must work diligently and vigorously to build and implement the programs, structures and support systems that will help us shift toward a more peaceful culture.
One could say the gun control lobby needs more finances to become as powerful as the NRA, which is a bit like saying we should arm our teachers with assault weapons to fight intruders. But why aren't more people talking about campaign finance reform?
