Prejean's complaining about the violation of her constitutional rights while not batting a false eyelash as she prays that gay people are denied theirs is stupendously immoral.

The foremost danger to marriage in our time is the wholesale degradation of women in popular culture. Porn in magazines, on TV, and especially on the Internet.

One wonders when Republicans are going to figure out how to appeal to people rather than traditions.

It puzzles me how she believes that gay marriage would harm the institution of marriage and is anti-Christian but that her posing topless is none of those things.

It must be somewhat comforting to live in a nation where homophobes and other bigots are placed on a blacklist and banned from that nation's shores.

The National Organization for Marriage is acting like if Miss California cannot be Miss USA, then she will be the new Queen Esther. But Carrie Prejean is neither one.

Miss California, you may find full civil equality for all Americans to be "unnatural" and not "Biblically correct," but, frankly, neither are your Jugs for Jesus and your Caps for Christ.

Miss California, like many who share her take on the marriage issue, was careful to talk about her "opinion" and "beliefs" and the way she was raised as if this excused her intolerance. Barack Obama talks about tradition and belief as well in defense of his own position.
