Obama has essentially loaded the gun and cocked it. But he has kept his finger off the trigger, pursuing diplomacy with the so-called P5+1 talks and rumored future direct talks with the Iranians. The problem is: Romney's guys want to shoot.
Most of all Obama has integrity. By contrast, Romney and Ryan do not hesitate to twist the truth, to manipulate numbers and statistics (math does count) and to flip-flop on many issues. Yesterday, they voted against women; today they are for advancing binders full of women.
Whatever I can do to help reelect President Obama and provide him with a majority in both houses of Congress so as to end the gridlock in Washington, D.C., I will do. I urge all other voters to do the same.
We have one person to thank for the fact that President Barack Obama successfully let Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu know 'who's the boss' both at the AIPAC conference and at a meeting between the two at the White House on Monday. Thank you, Mitt Romney.
If Romney wins, it will be based on economic hardship, but foreign policy will be engaged. Like his dodgy credentials as a businessman, Romney's ideas about America's role in the world are superficial.
It is like a terrible joke. The people who helped inflict one of the worst disasters in U.S. history on the American people are back to do it again. And the leading GOP contender for the presidency is following their lead.
