Mixed Drinks

I couldn't help but notice that there was an awful lot of cocktail drinking going on in Julie & Julia. There's a certain civility to occasionally unwinding and sharing your day over a cocktail.

At my neighbor's 87th birthday, we practiced harm reduction. None of us got stinking drunk. Furthermore, the birthday boy and I each only had to stagger back out across the hallway-no steps!
