Obama White House Art

The President and First Lady have reached out to galleries and private collectors asking for loans of modern art and art by women, African Americans, Asians and Hispanics.

We are long overdue for a coherent arts policy and a new approach to supporting the country's cultural institutions. Putting some contemporary art up in the White House would be good start.
