While immigration reform groups grow increasingly frustrated with campaign "tip-toeing" and "lip service," feds are placing ads in ethnic media outlets asking undocumented immigrants to deport themselves.

The Bush-agency initiative has been labeled "theater of the absurd" by immigration reform groups and a cover for plans to escalate the pace of raids and detentions across the country.

"Just when you thought the Bush Administration would ride quietly into the sunset, along comes another harebrained scheme. We are not going to deport our way out of our current immigration mess."
