When all the dust settles, the long term story on Wednesday's debate will be Romney's debate with himself. On issue after issue, the former Governor was an act of re-invention of self in progress.
Mitt Romney's now-infamous statement, "My job is not to worry about those people," pretty much sums up the Republican nominee's true feelings about who he represents. And if you're in serious debt, it looks like he's talking about you too.
Obama does have a choice. He can assail Romney's character but he can also take on the system that allows private-equity managers, as well as Wall Street's biggest banks, to continue to make huge profits at the expense of average Americans.
